Lil’ Super Duper at The Sunshine Shack is a Summer Camp experience designed especially for campers between the ages of 3 and 4 who are ready for something more fun, exciting and out of the ordinary than a typical preschool summer session, but not quite ready for the “big kid” experience at Super Duper Arts Camp or other “traditional” summer camps.

Lil’ Super Duper takes many of the same great activities and specialists that we use at “Big” Super Duper Arts Camp, such as Art, Yoga, Dance, Theater, Music, Science, and Cooking and folds them into a day that is organized with the needs and pace of 3-4 year olds in mind. Add some special visitors, like our beloved “Animal Lady” and Puppet Show along with themed spirit days such as Pajama Day, Aloha Day and Hallo-Purim-Ween and toss in some summer time favorites like water play days, and you’ve got one action packed summer of fun!

Lil’ Super Duper is staffed by the incredible year round teaching staff at The Sunshine Shack. Lil’ Super Duper counselors are experienced (and awesome) teachers who understand the needs of developmental level of campers in this age group.
In addition to the wonderful Sunshine Shack teachers, we also use many of the same fantastic specialists from Big Super Duper.
Who?
While each child is different and is ready for different experiences at different ages, we believe that, overall, there is a big developmental difference between a 3, 3.5 and 4 years old. Lil’ Super Duper is designed for this age group with their developmental needs in mind. The day is a little shorter, the pace is a little slower, the groups are a little smaller and the activities are more geared for their age. There is a better camper to staff ratio, more structured play time (which they need!) and a less rigorous schedule, yet with all the fun that the “regular” Super Duper Arts Camp experience has. Just at a level and pace that is more suited for 3-4 year olds. Waiting one more year to go to Big Super Duper Arts Camp will only serve to help set your little camper up for success!
