Below you will find the new schedule of after school enrichment classes for the upcoming Spring term at LCS.
Classes begin Monday, April 19 and end Friday, June 18.

To Register for classes, simply click here or at the bottom of this page and complete our online registration. If you prefer paper forms, those will be sent home in folders on Monday, April 12, after Spring break. If you would like a paper form prior to that, simply Contact Us and we will email you a paper form you can print and mail back to us.

Puppetry - MONDAY
Puppet specialist Bill Coelius takes us on a journey through the wonders of puppetry with this super fun workshop. We’ll explore different forms of puppetry and learn how to make our own puppets with simple found objects and basic materials, including sock puppets, shadow puppets, stick puppets and more. Then we’ll give voices and personalities to our characters to bring them to life in a puppet show performance at the end of the term (all ages)
Dance – Ballet & Tap - TUESDAY
Love to dance? Cant decide between ballet or tap? Well then, do both! Come and have fun on a journey through ballet and tap dance with a no-pressure approach that will focus on basic positions, creative movement, storytelling through dance, having fun and moving our bodies in both ballet and tap styles. Learn technique and have fun. Great for beginners or returning students. Culminates in a performance at the end of the term. (all ages)
Kidding Around the Kitchen: Cooking - WEDNESDAY
Kidding Around the Kitchen is an adventure in cooking, food and fun. Learn how to cook in a fun and safe way. Kids will make delicious, nutritious meals each week, learning about food and nutrition, smells, tastes, textures, exploration, kitchen safety and the art of cooking. (all ages)
Monster Garage Jr. - THURSDAY
An introduction to our famous Monster Garage class, Monster Garage Jr. is essentially found-object sculpture class that focuses on creating monster vehicles limited only by our imagination. We start with a basic toy car, plane or boat (maybe all three if we have time!) and build on to it using a variety of materials including household items, scraps, recycled objects and art supplies to re-design it and create the monster vehicle of your dreams. (all ages)
Mad Science: “Fun”damentals of Science – FRIDAY
The fun continues with this captivating assortment of Mad Science classes! Blend colors together, split up the rainbow, and see why lasers are so a-maze-ing. Hunt for hidden animals and minerals as we explore our earth and the animals that inhabit it. Uncover the mysteries of the food pyramid as we step our way to a healthier lifestyle! Learn the fundamentals of flight and build your very own glider. You will be a Top Gun in no time! Explore how we are pulled toward the Earth by the fabulous force of gravity. Finally, transform the room into a crime lab to collect fingerprints & other clues to Learn how science is used to solve real crimes!
