Financial Assistance
Financial Assistance
It is our wish and ultimate aim to be able to make Super Duper Arts Camp accessible to everyone, regardless of income or financial standing. While that ultimate goal is still more of a vision than a reality, and we only have a limited amount of scholarship funds and grants available, each year we do our best to move closer to that reality by providing the maximum amount of financial assistance possible.
If Super Duper Arts Camp is your desired choice for summer programming for your child, but are unable to pay the full tuition, there are two types of Financial Assistance options available:
Extended Payment Plan
Payment of tuition is normally divided into two payments, with a 50% deposit due at time of registration, and the balance being due before the start of camp. You may request that your payment schedule be extended and divided into more payments.
In most such cases, we typically divide the tuition into monthly payments beginning at the time of registration and ending at the end of your child’s enrollment period at camp. (On some occasions, an even more expanded payment schedule can be requested).
To request an extended payment schedule, please contact us PRIOR to registering at info@superduperartscamp.com.
(You do not need to fill out the Financial Assistance Application for this option)
Scholarships
We have a limited amount of scholarship funding available to families for whom the Extended Payment option is still non-viable. Scholarships are given based on need, on a first-come, first-served basis, until our scholrship fund is depleted for the summer.
To qualify for scholarship-based financial assistance, you must complete our online Financial Assistance Application.
Qualification is determined by an outside agency that we employ in order to help make sure that the limited funds we have are distributed appropriately to families who qualify for the needs-based assistance.
There is a $25 fee for the processing of the application, which is paid directly to FACTS Tuition Aid (not to us). There is no way for us to waive this fee.
Things to know before applying for financial assistance:
•Scholarships are limited and are on a first-come, first-served basis
•Application does not guarantee you will receive aid
•The maximum amount we are able to give to any applicant is 50%, though most applicants will whose applicatoins are approved will receive somewhere between 10%-50% reduction in tution
•The $25 application fee (paid to FACTS) is non-refundable.
